CT Lottery Wins Responsible Gambling Communications Award for Retailer Training
The CT Lottery received an award for best Responsible Gambling Communications in the Electronic Category for Retailer Training at the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries (NASPL) Annual Conference and Trade Show in Atlantic City. The electronic Retailer Training activity was produced by the CT Lottery and distributed to more than 2800 retailers via Survey Monkey
. Designed to be short, informative, and interactive, this training activity was the first of its kind and offered retailers a way to easily share a responsible gambling message directly with their employees. The digital platform facilitated fast and meaningful messaging on an important topic.

The CT Lottery's newsletter, Chatter that Matters?, was recently selected by the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) at the organization’s 28th National Conference on Problem Gambling as the winner of the Best New 2014 Problem Gambling-Related Newsletter.
In 2013, the CT Lottery was selected by NCPG and the International Centre for Youth Gambling Problems and High-Risk Behaviors at McGill University for the second year as the winner of the “Best 2012 U.S. Holiday Lottery Campaign.” The award recognized the CT Lottery’s continued and outstanding commitment during the holiday season to promote responsible play.
The CT Lottery participates in the World Lottery Association's responsible gaming accreditation program. In 2012, the CT Lottery achieved Level xoilac 90 2 Accreditation—one of only six U.S. lotteries to achieve this distinction.
